Over the years, books have been the primary creative medium through which I express myself. I began exploring this form in 2008, when I self-published my first art book series. My work has always been fluid, evolving over time—from my early days as a photographer and textile-enthusiast to my foray into knit pattern design and, eventually, craft publishing. For the past fifteen years, my businesses and projects have taken various shapes, and even my name has transformed, yet at the core of it all remains a deep curiosity about what it means to live a creative and beautiful life. With books remaining close to my heart, I continue to pour my love into this medium.

Regardless of the form, truth and love are the foundation of all my work.

Curiosity is my north star.

A recent curiosity and calling led me to write a book about my life. The Sound of Center is a memoir about how I learned to listen to my inner voice. It chronicles my transformation—from one way of living to a whole new way of seeing, experiencing, and navigating the world. In it, I write about my heartaches, my joys, how I listened, and how I loved.

In this book, I share the lessons I’ve learned and how I came to move, sometimes literally, in response to the calls of the Divine. I am a student of nature, of life, and of harmony. I’ve learned from the wind, the mountains, the trees, and the water, just as much as I’ve learned from the experiences of my life. This is who I am now. But I wasn’t always this way—or perhaps I was, I just wasn’t aware of it.

The Sound of Center: A Memoir of Listening is the story of how I came to embody this new way—the listening way, the harmonious way, the way of center.
