Author, Artist, & Land Listener
Cecilia C. Rose

Over the years, books have been the primary creative medium through which I express myself.

I began exploring this form in 2008, when I self-published my first visual diary book series. My work has always been fluid, evolving over time—from my early days as a photographer and textile enthusiast to my foray into knit pattern design and, eventually, craft publishing.

For the past two decades, my businesses and projects have taken various forms, and even my own name has evolved. Yet within the core remains a deep curiosity about what it means to live a creative and beautiful life.

In early 2024, I branched out into writing, pouring my life story into my memoir, The Sound of Center: A Memoir of Listening. In it, I share the profound experiences that transformed my life and my journey of creating space for healing, growth, and becoming more fully my authentic self. And through grounding and clearing practices, I discovered something I never expected: the ability to listen to the spirits of the land.

Last year, I took a big leap into the creative unknown and launched The Harmony Channel, a podcast featuring life stories about creating a harmonious life from the inside out. It’s been unexpectedly fun to share in this way, and I look forward to sharing my voice as my spiritual growth continues. I have also started a small chapbook series that, to me, are seeds from which all my future work will sprout.

Whatever creative medium I explore, harmony, truth, beauty, and a connection to the land and spirit live at the center of my work. To learn more about my life and creative projects, I invite you to read my memoir and listen to the podcast.
